i dont want to use it because it has to work this way i tried i am just searching for a reason why doesnt it work. and by that i'm helping resolve some issues not just for myself

Something missing here, I am assuming you are running xp sp2 with all updates.

Your graph seems to be building fine, maybe a screenshot of card in device manager with HW id showing, example

I had the same problem and no luck so went back to PowerCinema (full version).

Does the radio work?
Analog TV?
Here we only have only 4 DVB channels (experimental) and everything else on analog (VHF/UHF) TV. No cable either!
So it is imperative for me to be able to set up MP with Gigabyte U8000 to receive analog channels otherwise is of no use.
Please let me know if you managed it.

I was right from the beginning then . Anyhow, your Gigabyte U8000 usb tuner came with powercinema bundled, correct? If so this should work fine for all aspects of TV/Radio play. For more, like video (divx/xvid/avi etc), audio (mp3/wma/ogg..), weather, news... you can upgrade to the full version and install klite or ffdshow codecs allowing you to play anything....

hm.... powercinema works, but i run it, wizard starts, i configure everything, and digital signal works, i see the channels, but next time i start power cinema it starts in analog, and i have to put on digital so it works, dont know why it does that, anyone got any clue?

btw. there is an error with media portal config, i get this error
