Guide Win7 and MP 1.1.0 (1 Viewer)

I am currently running Vista and MP 1.0.2. When MP 1.1.0 is released i am planning to redo my install with win7.

have searched for a guide for installing Win7 and MP 1.1.0 but can not find any. Is there such a a guide somewhere?

Hi,
You should have no problems at all. I just installed RC 6 on Windows 7 Ultimate. Fresh install on system, I installed all latest drivers for the MB, graphics, sound, TV card, etc. After that I installed the latest K-Lite codec pack and installed MediaPortal, with all normal settings. It ran straight out of the box no problems no hassles (no FM Radio though). I have also installed plugins moving pictures and TV series, I am networking shows and movies from a NAS drive and everything as fast and smooth. After install just set up MediaPortal to your liking as you did on your old system. The only difference I found was setting the software up on W7, took a lot less than half of the time it did on XP and I could not get it running on Vista.
