Has anyone got MediaInfo to work with RC3 Blue 3? (1 Viewer)

Hi i've been trying for a little while to get the mediainfo to work with Blue 3. When you select a TV series and it shows a description of the episode, next to the thumbnail preview is a space for RES and Size etc.

I have copied the Mediainfo.dll (0.7.7.7) to the plugins/window directory, but nothing.

I'm also using Vista Ultimate 64x

Is this something to do with the Blue 3 skin or the Mediainfo.dll?

Any solutions would be great! Thanks!

Did your Media Information get parsed? Have a look in the configuration tool by selecting an episode in the list, if the information has been parsed then you should see things like video/audio bitrate, runtime etc

If its not there you may need to 'Update Media Info', see 'Import Settings->Online Data Sync'

No the video/audio bitrate is not appearing in the config tool when selecting an episode

I tried 'update media info' and it came with an error:

error reading mediainfo an attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format: (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8007000B)

I forgot to mention that I am using the 64 bit version of MediaInfo as I'm using Vista64x

any ideas?

Have you tried the 32 bit version as well?

yea i tried the 32bit first and it didn't work, then the 64bit one and neither did that.

Is there something else I am supposed to do apart from just putting the mediainfo.dll into the plugins/windows folder?

I thought maybe it could be a Blue 3 skin problem but then of course no video info shows in the config of tv-series plugin.

Thats all you need to do (atleast with a 32bit OS), I have it working but that's with 32bit vista.

Perhaps the x64 platform needs to be added to the configuration at compile time of the plugin. I will need to test it on a 64bit os and see what happens.

Surely there is someone else experiencing this issue if thats the case.

i'm sure there must be someone else who has tried to get it working on vista 64x??

don't go out of the way to test, i just wanted to know if someone had experienced the same thing and found a way to get it to work, or at least to raise the issue.

I know there is a Mediainfo forum, but i can't find it, do you know where it is? I post my problem there as well and maybe the developers would consider it in future releases!
