On x64 you also need the 32bit version because MP and in consequence tvseries runs as 32bit and thus cannot load 64bit assemblies.

Do you get the exact same error with the 32 bit version?

Thats all you need to do (atleast with a 32bit OS), I have it working but that's with 32bit vista.

Perhaps the x64 platform needs to be added to the configuration at compile time of the plugin. I will need to test it on a 64bit os and see what happens.

Surely there is someone else experiencing this issue if thats the case.

    Hi,
Do not compile anything with MediaPortal (plugins etc) as x64, that will not work. I use Vista x64 ultimate with MediaPortal & TV Series plugin(compiled as default MP as x32 & plugins as any cpu) without problems.

Btw, all filters, codecs, exe's used in combination with MP has to be x32 compiled to run correct on x64....

Inker do you mean I have to have both x32 and x64 mediainfo.dll files in the same folder? Oh just the x32 one?

Yea I tried the x32 version not sure if it was the same error, I will try it again and post the error.

    Hi Roy,

as far as I know the RC3 version i'm using is x32 and the TV-Series plugin too. I'm not using anything else with MediaPortal. Just trying to get this darn MediaInfo plugin to work with the TV-Series to display the Video resolution and stuff.

He means only the x86 (32bit) version of MediaInfo.dll. Post back with that error message.

I re-scaned media info, then opened up MP and TV-Series and the all the info was there!!!!

Thanks guys for helping a noob, and sorry for wasting your time!!!! I am most greatful! Please expect more nooby question from me in the future :D In fact i'm gona post another now ;D
