Can we track the problem down to the PVR-150 (or maybe certain versions of the card)?!? Has anyone got a system with a PVR-150 where the plugin is working properly?!? Hopefully it might be a driver issue? Not sure, but could you check different versions of the driver for the PVR-150?

I seem to have the same problem nothing works with the new pluggin and the latest version of mp. Hope we find a solution, for now I'm back on the .10 version of mp with the down button on the nav pad of the remote not working. That can be a pain in the ass, but I get where I want most of the time.
I'd like to say thanks for all the hard work you've put into this project. (Thumbs Up!)

Mine works perfectly after I upgraded from Win2000 to XP. (Epia MII 12000/Hauppauge WinTV PVR USB2)

Wishlist for future version:
Since I got the 34 button remote I have to use the function key to change between the channel/volume & cursor keys. It is frustrating to not know what the current mode is. An idea is perhaps to let it return to "cursor keys"-mode after i.e 10 seconds if no buttons are pressed....?

I'm having the same problem with PVR-150 and XP SP2. Did no detailed research yet, but enabled the logging. I saw the Plugin starts and stops without an error, but that's are all logging entries I found. So no error entries, key pressed entries or something like that.
I'm busy this week, but if the problem still exists I can do some tests next weekend.

Uhm.... can you explain what you are using for the remote control in MP now? I don't see a reason why you have to step back to .10? And I don't know of a bug regarding the down button?!? Hope you can make it clear... :wink:mverkaik said:

my hauppauge remote control doesnt work with mediaportal and pvr-150. plugin ist installed and activated. any help?

I don't know really why I went back to .10 I guess because all seemed to work fine in that version and I made a backup wich I could replace eassily. Still the down button of the navpad doesn't work, I tried it in wintv2000 and it worked fine. Is there a log file created in the 'old' version?

We're investigating this right now... Please post any version information you can get, including hardware revision, driver version, driver language, etc. For the IR drivers and for the card drivers.5hreddler said:

It's not working for me. In mediaportal configuration, plugin and hauppauge remote setup: for ir.exe and irremote.dll: not found; for home directory, I have strange value like: hkey_localmachine\... or square ...
It seems that it have a problem with ir directory retreiving or registry. I will verify that entry in registry is present in my system.
