    I'm having the exact same issue. I've never had any problems with HD channels until the SVN from May 23, 2008.

    It's like the video goes into slow motion (audio stays constant), then goes into super-fast mode to catch up to the audio.

    I've confirmed that SD channels don't exhibit this behaviour. The weird part is that I've been running the latest svn for 4 days now and hadn't noticed this issue until just now.

    UPDATE: I've tested the StreamingServer.dll in this thread and it hasn't helped the issue :(

    I downgraded to SVN 19127 and I'm still seeing issues. This is very strange. Here are my logs.

    I readjusted my ffdshow settings and MediaPortal config for codecs and things seem to have sorted themselves out somehow. I set all the codec settings back to what they were when I was experiencing the problem, but now it's gone.

    Strange....

    I created a patch using SVN.
    Also included a short readme with a summary of my changes.

    For me your patch results in things like:
    Error 400 error C4430: missing type specifier - int assumed. Note: C++ does not support default-int c:\program files\microsoft sdks\windows\v61\include\ws2ipdef.h 97 LiveMedia555

    for line:
    SOCKET_ADDRESS iiAddress; // Interface address.

    1) Did you follow up the filter compilation instructions in trunk\DirectShowFilters\VS Environment Setup.txt ?

    2) Our internal tests did have multiple issues with that patch, so I wouldnt recommend using it. MP would randomly freeze / crash on some PCs / streams when seeking or zapping. We did try to contact the original patch author, but unfortunately we didnt hear anything from him.

    yeah i did follow that but it seems to be related to the MS Vista / windows Server 2008 SDK which has some important changes to the winsock API.

    But thanks for your information - then i do not have to test andything...
