Ok, I reinstalled everything. Vista, Mediaportal, etc....

And now it works!!! I'm so happy. :) Thx 4 all the reactions.

Only problem now is the noise of the fan of GT 240. I'm thinking about buying a Zalman VF770 VGA cooler as a replacement. Does anyone have this cooler and what is the noise level?

Having TV HD stutter issues when watching live and recorded HD TV.
System;
Asrock ION330HT 2gb mem, latest bios and drivers. W7 installed, PowerDVD9, CoreCodec2.0, SAF5.0 and MP1.1 RC5 as client. locked videomem in bios on 512.
MP server running XP sp3, 2 digital everywhere DVB s2 cards, Canal digitaal provider.
Even when I overclock to 2.1Ghz, .ts files stutter. All ripped hd content is (almost stutterfree) but .ts files are causing headaches!
Best results with coreavc, but not yet good watchable..
When I play the recorded .ts files with VLC all is very good! Is there a way to use the VLC codec's? Seems to be the best!

Done so far, thanks for reminder!
In the meanwhile, dug a bit deeper. Have also NO stuttering in TV server preview. So I think that it can´t be a HW or codec problem.

So, here´s again a summary of what I see...
- stuttering when watching crypted HDTV (ORF HD in my case) live - looks as if wrong deinterlacing or so happens
- no stuttering when I jump back eg 15secs, wait until the timeshift appears
- no stuttering when afterwards jumping forward to the "end" again - so watching live then
- no stuttering for any other type of program: crypted SDTV, uncrypted HDTV, uncrypted SDTV.
- no stuttering in the "preview" in the TV server configuration

What is "in behind " the difference between watching live TV and watching live TV after "rewinding" and "cueing"?

You can find many threads on the forum where is stated that ION platform is unfortunately underpowered for 1080i content with EVR and Mediaportal.

It is on the line for rendering 1080p.

1080i should work with windows XP and VMR9, that requires less GPU power.

    Solved to me (HDTV stutter)

Hello I've been suffering HD and SD stutter since RC2 but I've found that increasing the MP "Process priority" to "Above normal" or even better, to "High" has greatly improve that problem (this option is in MP config -> "General"). In my setup which is really Under power I only have few frame drops (finally as 1.02).

    Try and report back please.
