HDTV Tuning details for Canal Digital on Thor (1 Viewer)

This time with the file...

It works for me now. I installed the newest graphics driver and suddenly i can watch all the HD channels. First i only could watch Canal + Film HD. Is there some difference in the encoding between the channels ?

Canal+ film hd, canal+ sport hd, and svt hd are all on the same transponder and use the same encoding.

There seem to have been some kind of frequency/transponder update from Telenor/CD, so now SVT HD is the only HD channel that works for me.

I'm really not into the technical details on this, but some more info can be found here (in Swedish):

Does this mean that I need to update the ini file and do a new channel scan?

It seems as though txp 14 on 11421 has not moved to Thor 5 yet.

Here is a revised satelitte .ini file for Canal Digital Sweden (I have removed other transponders to speed up scan process and reduce unwanted channels). Replace existing file in the folder \Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal TV Server\TuningParameters (backup old version just in case).

Will the new channel scan "ruin" my existing channel list? I have spend quite a few hours getting it "just right
If so, is there any way to backup/restore? I'm using the "All Channels" List as my default list...

It depends how you have set it up. I create Groups in TV server and map the channels into the apppropriate group (favorites, sports, film, hd, etc). That way when you update the channels it does not affect the groups.

Some of the CD HD channels switched to Thor 5 on the 18th and changed parameters in doing so. New .ini filed attached.

I tried the fix, but i'm also getting "no signal" on the 2 transponders?
