AW: HELP test: fix for - some cards are slow at tuning.

compiled the 2nd patch against RC4... works like a charm. channel change now only takes half of the time.

    tested with "msi DVB-T stick"

will try some more cards when I have a bit more time.

Does the TVServer debug option "always reset graph" disable your changes? I need this option with an DVB-C system, otherwise tuning to some channels sometimes fail.

it's "--DebugOptions". But if you got it with the client, why not with the server? :p

    are your IONs running smooth?

Really nice! This new bins gave me an enormous upgrade according watching tv. I've been watching the whole evening: no glitches, no errors, just terrific. Also my Softcam seems do be supported nicely now, it's just running stable.
But whats the difference between pausegraph1 and 2?

    Hi,

I think pausegraph1 is the pause/resume patch for tuning itself and pausegraph2 is the whole thing
including the patch for preloading the cards.

    greetings,

thx! even though I don't know what they mean/do in detail.... they are not corresponding to the debug options in the client

My Ion is running great! the other client unfortunately is no ion but running great also...

    cheers

I watch TV via DVB-IP. For that I use a modified version of the MP IPTV directshow filter. Yesterday I tried your modified "graph builder" on my system. As I expected there is no noticable change in the zapping time, because the DVB-IP source starts very quick.
Your version worked fine for a while. But after I tried to start a recorded movie the TV didn't start again. When I tried to start live tv "an unknown error occured". At this point the whole behavior of MP was wiered. I can not say if the error was caused by your modifications. But perhaps it was, and I just want to let you know this.
I found this in the TV servers log:
2010-07-08 23:16:40.864127 [(30)]: Exception :TvLibrary.TvException: Unable to add source filter
    bei TvLibrary.Implementations.DVB.TvCardDVBIPBuiltIn.AddStreamSourceFilter(String url) in D:\svnroot\mediaportal_Graph_2\TvEngine3\TVLibrary\TVLibrary\Implementations\DVB\Graphs\DVBIP\TvCardDVBIPBuiltIn.cs:Zeile 76.

    Full error log is attached.
