I have just noticed this error in the error.log. It is the only error in there and seems to have only occurred once. I'm using Sebastiii's pausegraph2_binsRC6Release.zip

It seems that recording TV is not roking fully with these path - I'm running patch2_RC6.
I have two tuners, I was able to get a faulty recording when watching TV with 1 tuner then schedule a recording on another MUX. The recording starts - but is corrupted (not able to play the recording). But recording the currently running TV works okay. Yesterday I had problems with a scheduled recording when no other TV was running - I got corrupted recording (when running with MPC-HC it says not recognised media), still the recording was okay in size...

Guessing only, but perhaps maybe because of only unpausing/pausing when starting the recording or something?
When reverting back to original .exes and .dlls (RC6) it works flawlessly.

Sorry not able to get you logs just yet.. Will do later on... reverted back for the time being.
If it is a general problem - it should be easy to reproduce.

longterm test was not succesfull.... If I don't use the debug option "always reset graph...." in tvserver config, it often fails to start tv with "unable to start graph" or "not able to play stream2.0" -> restart tvservice, sometimes restart whole system.... also my tuners stay on, till I restart tvservice.

conclusion:
the patch makes channel switching faster, but side effect are the problems I mentioned...!


can't provide logs at the moment, but I try to collect it soon

i'm using this patch since two weeks - absolutely NO problems. Seems to be tvcard driver related.

Server is running stable for at least 5 days now, altough I'm using a softcam. This is, what i was searching for .

chnaged the network provider from "generic" to "DVBT" and now it seems running fine...

^ Never tried that before, but changed it also to DVBT and now TV starts after 2 secs (before 5 secs) and w/o the patch provided here. Also zapping is much faster (about 1,5 secs). TV card is Avermedia DVBT Stick.

reverted back to original TVServer and can confirm this behavior... channel switching much faster with network provider set to "DVBT" instead of "Generic".

For me: The patch provided here only speeds up tuning times, when "Generic" network provider is selected in tvserver config.
