And, in response to many questions rising in this thread, I would like to show my point of view.

a) Once you have a table with a list of TV channels in your area (I had one made for me for personal uses, but there are a lot of sites in the internet) making a text formula to generate the XML file using excel of OpenOffice Calc is trivial. That is what I did.

b) Of course I have different frequencies depending on where my antenna is pointed to. I solve it by merely duplicating entries (may channels for same TV or many TVs in same channel).

c) I've seen some XMLs from Pinnacle in the thread. An option for importing such xmls (and any other from the different DVB card/soft vendors) would be great.

How about, for the Netherlands, directly parsing the websites of the cabel providers

UPC has a clear page with the city's which can easily be parsed
Each city has it's own code:
    http://upc.nl/frequencies_gm.php?GM=0305

    Casema does the same thing
    http://www.casema.nl/pagina/thuis/radioentelevisie/rtvanaloog/zenderoverzicht

    MultiKabel
    http://www.multikabel.nl/service-desk/frequentieoverzicht-analoge-radio-en-tv/

    Caiway:
    http://www.caiw.nl/

having this info correct and upto date would realy help give the WAF a real kick

For US Zap2It users, can we export our guide? This should contain all info needed including channel ids and such.

Also, allowing multiple lineups is key as mentioned before in this thread, soon in my case I will have ability for OTA ATSC, Cable QAM, Cable Analog, and if it works quite possibly streaming of digital thru firewire.

For that last one...and this is more of a request....is it possible to add a streaming tuner feature based off firewire/usb connection? What I mean is, there may be a way to stream .ts output from a box thru Firewire. I'm not sure if our new boxes can do this yet? So I might as well ask anyway. An option to search for stream over firewire and treat as tv signal would be sweet. Couple this with blaster control of the box and I could use the guide in MP instead of having to switch over to see what's on digital.

Anyway...I guess just the zap2it question is the most important here.

The file for Rotkreuz, Zug, Switzerland (which should be good for all of Kanton Zug) is on its way. My wishes for TV setup:
Easier configuration of (multiple) direct TV card inputs (CVBS, SVHS, etc.).

XML file for the Netherlands / Eemnes / Casema

Today I mailed you the XML file for the Netherlands / Eemnes / Casema.
Can you please remove the existing XML file from the site, and publish this one instead? Thank you!

    Hi,

I'm looking to get Media Portal setup for NTL Digital in Dublin due to issues I have been having with MCE, but I can''t figure out how to set it up for NTL Digital as opposed to NTL Analogue - any ideas or channel listing files much appreciated.
