Help us to nail down the general problems with some technotrend cards (2 Viewers)

I'm still having problems with my Technotrend TT Ci 3650.
I'm using a alphacrypt classic. With "ziggo" (Netherlands).

I'm still getting this message in my tvlog:

I already putted timeshift and PMT at 30 secondonds, but still no luck. I've tried several solutions, but I constantly have to restart TvService between switching channels.

By the way it's a multiseat environment.

The tvserver is on windows xp with service pack 3 and all the updates and dvbfix (I have tested it with Vista, but same arreors still occore)
I also had a net famework error ID 1000, but this one is gone by deleting the channels which I don't pay for and by not getting epg for them.
I've tried several svns but they all give me the same error.


I have several clients through the house. 2 with windows vista with sp1 and 2 with windows 7.

The codecs are allright because when it play's, it plays very smooth.

I disabled the radio and DvB-T from the card and disabled allow this card to be preloaded, because things are only getting worde then.

I am using 4therecord also, but without it it makes no difference.

Maybe you can help me. I'll put in the log files.

so first question, what version of MP exactly do you use?

I've tried everything. MP 1.0 and all the latest svn builds.

I'm having this problem for over 6 months now.

The clients are all working fine. It's the tvserver which doesn't.

Now I'm going to try the disaster tv-server edition.

Disaster release seems to work fine, i've changed channel for up to 20 times now and still no lock up.
Fingers crossed.

How does the original technotrend software work?
Any problems there?
is there a ttBdaDrvApi_Dll.dll ?
which version it has?

ttBdaDrvApi_Dll.dll version 1.0.1.21 But I've tried different kinds.

And again the message "Not Supported On your Recorders/Tuners"

The original software works okay. DVBDream and DVBProg also and the channelswitching is much faster.

We were talking about ttBdaDrvApi_Dll.dll, not the driver. the driver I use is 1.0.3.8.

And I have a ct-3650 Ci, not the s2, so no firmware update for me.

Well Loendersloot, join the club.

I have this card for about 2.5 years now. The only thing it did was causing trouble.

Aswell with the old mediaportal tv engine (before the tvserver existed) and with the tvserver itself nothing but pain in the ass. After 1.5 year trying and trying i gave up. No live tv for me at the moment. Maybe I buy a floppyDTV or so this year, but i'm not spending even one second on this piece of crap anymore.

The problems you're telling are identical as mine. It works just fine within the technotrend app, but it doenst work at all within mediaportal, dvbportal and others.
Advice: quit finding the problem and buy yourself a floppyDTV. Probably you never get it working correct.

Below are some sample shot i made when debugging the problem a few months ago.

BTW, i'm using Caiway. They use the exact same technique as Ziggo does. Just plain DVB-C.

I didn't spend €250 for nothing. I will try and solve the problem, because if it's working I'll buy a second Ct-3650-Ci and move everything to my homeserver, so I don't have two servers running at home. (see my signature).

Did a clean install. Installed the disaster release, but still the same error:

TechnoTrend IsCamReady(): IsCamPresent:True, IsCamReady:False

The mantis problem you refer has nothing to do with your issue (it was temporary wrong reported, but was working!)
I know it, because it where my patches that firstly introduced this, and then fixed this
