    I want to help with development, but I can't download the code, seems like I don't have the right authorities. Where could I create a profile for me so I can download the code?

    You'd be welcome to check out the code. Instructions for that are on the wiki here. You may only have access to the SourceForge SVN server, so give that a shot...
