Dedicated TV server
Core duo E2180, 2GB RAM, Hauppauge 500pvr, Hauppauge wintv DVB-S/S2
TVEngine 1.0 RC1
HTPC
pendium D 2.6Ghz, 1GB RAM, PowerColour (ATI) HD 3650, MediaPortal 1.0 RC1
No SVNs on either PC.
I hope someone can help. When watching sat channels provided by the DVB-S/S2 card I have a flashing blocky interference on the picture. (Freeview channels are fine). I've tried powerDVD, bought CoreAVC and ATICodec all with the same results. The sat dish is fine with my sky box and TVEngine reports signal strength of 92%.
The picture attached is from BBC HD where the problem is much worse. On SD channels the problem persists but is not so bad.
Does anyone have any ideas, surely someone has had this issue too!
I have three other PCs around the house that all run MP and are clients of the TVServer and they suffer this too! One of them has an nvidia gfx card so I'm 110% certain this is not a MP client issue, the problem has to sit with the TVServer.
Any help? Please.
