How do i set up so i can stream tv channels (1 Viewer)

Hi

I have TV server & a client installed on my HTPC and it work OK, but now i would like to install a second TV card and stream channels via the network at home and give the user at the second computer to change cannels & watch channels as they please. Is this possible and how do i do it?

Installing the second card is an optional step that can be performed at any stage. This is only done on the server PC.

To stream the channels via your network, you will have to do the following:
A. Follow the wiki instructions to configure your server and database correctly for network access.
B. Install MediaPortal on the other PC.
C. Install the TVplugin on the other PC.

This new client will then be able to:
1. Watch the stream that is currently active (if any) on the server
2. Change channels providing that a free tuner is available on the server.

Thanks for the answer. So if i now install a second card and i would like to stream all channels on the second card do i need to add all the channels or is it just to stream the card it self?

have a look at this flow chart below and see if helps your question? As long as the 2 tv cards have the same channels tuned then all should be fine.
