Make sure you set default audio rendere in MePo setting.

I'd suggest you use LAV (as Audio Decoder) and make sure you've checked the 'Bitstreaming' settings:

That is what SAF configure automatically if passthrough is enabled

I use ffdshow audio decoder (svn) for this. No problem.
