Are you able to use reinstall current installation ?
If not you can use : %temp%\MediaPortal Installation\deploy and run both installer one after the other

But it said it will reinstall as 1.8.0 Pre not the test one 1.7.1?

Hmm i don't follow you

You can if you have 1.7.1 :
- Upgrade to 1.8.0Pre release + fix for subtitle based on Jira Installer
- Use temp folder (Start installer - stop it -> use 2 installers from deploy folder)

Because the download filename is mediaportalsetup1.7.1.....exe.

So I thought it will install as version 1.7.1 with the fix but it gave me that message, so I am not sure to go ahead with the reinstall or not.

It's : 1.7.100 (1.8.0 Pre release) vs 1.7.1 (Hotfix)

Like it's an installer for testing, you can use the temp folder method

Just choose the option "Update current installation to 1.8.0 Pre" and you'll be fine.

OK tested it. Better than before but still bigger than the subtitle from TV itself or subtitle for video.
