You have to edit the skin file. Near the begining of movingpictures.xml look for the following defines:
You need to change these from true to false for the views you do not want to use backdrops in.

How can I disable or delete the field newest films if go to video?
I suspected that might be the case, It was a process, and plenty of opportunities with mobo upgrade/cloning system drive, increasing share drive capacities and OS upgrade, all going on. I did a reinstall and restored user files, after everything settled in, and the issue seems to have gone away.

made several attempts with the update, TvPlugin did not appear in the install screen. MP will not start...
What's the best way to select a different backdrop?
Sometimes the first selected backdrop is not great and I'd like to select another.
Moving Pictures scales down the high res pictures and shrinks the filesize as well so I can't just go to fanart or themoviedb and get the images without doing some extra work to get the file right...
