how to get 2 floppydtv dvb-c get to work together (1 Viewer)

No other tv-cards.
I can record 3 different channels simultaneously without problems, or watching 1 and record 2, or watching 2 and record 1...
If the channels are on the same transponder, only one card is used then and more channels can be tuned / recorded then.

No, no solution yet. I am really really disappointed. I was on cloud nine when i purchased my second floppy dtv but untill now i can only use one.
I have 2 alphacrypt classic cams: v3.12 - v3.19. My tv cards are a v1 and v2. Drivers are 1.41 for the v1 and 2.44 for the v2.
The only thing i want try is to downgrade the v2 to the v1 driver. I cannot upgrade the cams.
I still cannot believe it wont work.

(currently not able to confirm driver versions since i am away from my system. Xmas and all. Will update asap. Fijne kerst.)

This test is important. If you can't use two tuners at once in the DigitalEverywhere software then MediaPortal has no chance to make it work either. That result would indicate that there is a driver or firmware limitation. Some of the team have 2 FireDTV/FloppyDTV tuners working in MediaPortal, however I think they may use different CAMs to you...

I for instance have 3 x FloppyDTV (1x v2 and 2x v1 but i also had different configs with 2x v2) and 3x Alphacrypt classic. All the latest drivers (5.7) and firmwares. Only problem here is a BSOD now and then but besides that it is working perfectly.

Yes, latest firmware and latest driver. (i followed the instructions as described by digital everywhere) I use mp 1.1.2
I didnt test with 1.1.2 but will do so in the next week.
(i am a bit reluctant to mess around with my main system since the whole family depends on it. Thats why i didnt try 1.1.2. yet )

btw. one cam is version v1.6 the other 1.4 (they also have different firmware)

I did some tests today.
First i tried to get firedtv viewer to work. No luck. Couldnt find any channels. (it took so long i stopped the process)
After that i tried both cards without cams in MP. They both work. Although only the v2 card produces smooth playback.
The v1 card shows video which breaks into large pixels and stuttered audio. This happens only when both cards are connected through firewire.
When i disconnect the v2 card from firewire the problem with v1 card is over. Playback is great.
I had a spare firewire pci card laying around so i tried to connect one card to the built in firewire port and one to the pci card. No luck.
Legacy drivers: no luck.

I begin to think that the v1 card just cant handle the stream over firewire when a second connection is made.

Someone any ideas?
