Since 2 days i am trying to get my two floppydtv dvb-c cards to get to work at the same time. Nothing works. 'Updated' the firewire driver to the legacy version. Changed cams, smartcards etc. Cards work perfect but just not together.
When recording one channel and switching to an other from a different transponder the cards crash and i have to restart my system. One card has also problems scanning for channels on his own. (no signal for some QAM's).

Someone having the same problems?

Hi Joostzilla

I also have 2 floppydtv cards, (one version 1 and one version 2).
And I also have problem with one of them scaning (no channel-name, and scaning 0.5 Mhz wrong).
I don´t know if this helps, or you alredy have tryed this.
But if I only scan with the good card, and map the cannels to the other, everything works perfectly.

I have my cards connected in series, I don´t know if it makes any difference.

Thanks for your advise.
My cards are also version 1 and 2. I've passed the cable through the first card (v2) to the second (v1). The cams are 1.4 and 1.6. Both work fine. Why does only one of the two scan correct. The card that scans bad has always worked great when it was the only card.
I tried mapping the channels from one to another but that didnt help. I will try deleting all channels and start all over again. See if that helps.

I will get back at this

I'm using their DVB-T cards, so it might be different with the DVB-C cards, but my experience is that sending the signal fron one card to the other reduces the quality of the signal by a significant amount. Have you tried using two separate cables from your cable source? One for each card?

ive tried it but only to check if the card, cam and smartcard actually work. And they do :D
Now i will try splitting the cable before the cards.
    Thanks for the hint.

Does MP name the cards different in your system? In my system they are both called the same. Should be easier is there was a (1) and (2) behind the tuner name
