How to get TV client to show MPEG4 channels? (1 Viewer)

Hi Rasle500,

I have now tried to zap through my channels including DR HD and could not get MP to crash. I have furthermore implemented the CoreAVC fix mentioned by Zator: In core avc config you have to choose "Deinterlacing: Hardware" and "Deblocking: Standard"

So in my setup everything seems to function except that they must have regulated the transmission effekt downwards or something since my signal is significantly lower than before. (I'm using the Hedensted Antenna).

Are you sure you get the signal from the same antenna? They don't just adjust the transmission effect as it would affect everybody in the area in some way. Perhaps your retuning picked up a more remote antenna?

Har prøvet coreavc, men er ikke helt tilfreds.

Has no one found any "Free Codecs" to mpeg4?
've Tried coreavc, but are not completely satisfied.

In Denmark we have television signal in mpeg 4 and that is what it should be used to.

It is the closet Antenna in this direction (North) that is transmitting horisontal. The closer helper transmitter in Vejle is transmitting vertical. So it have to be the same antenna. I have used the same list as you provided to tune in the channels. The funny part is that it is only from MUX1 that I receive with 50-60%. From MUX2 and MUX3 I receive nearly 100%

I'm formatting and reinstalling at the moment, but will give coreavc a new try.
By the way, my signal strength is 25-30% and have been working fine for over a year (except if my mobile phone is to close to mediacenter and i receive a sms).

I'm only getting the sound not the picture .. ??

I have both the COREAVC og ffdshow codec, but none of these work. ??

However, it would be nice to have DXVA with Cyberlink H.264, and I also think that the picture quality of CoreAVC is a little bit worse than Cyberlink.
Since the HD channels is 720p and the rest is just 576i, my onboard Radeon 3200 can easily hardwaredecode it = less work on my CPU
