Did you select your preferred audio device? (Settings->Players->Codecs->Audio device)
There are also settings to prefer multichannel for video player

You would do well to remember that MP2 is "alpha" software. You should not expect everything to "just work" like XBMC and MP1, which are stable and have been around for years. Nobody is forcing you to use MP2.
I thought it was final cause the download link appeared on the website.
Further there is no reason to remove it unless you specifically want to, because it can be installed alongside MP1 and XBMC.
Except that when I hit the green button on my MCE remote, both MP1 and MP2 would start up. That gets annoying.
[edit: In fact, there is even a specific warning about using MP2 for ATSC TV:
    https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...dated-for-10th-ae-update-1-2014-09-13.114068/

ATSC support can be considererd as broken, as the code part is "work in progress" and not finished.

ATSC works fine in MP2. At least for me it did.[DOUBLEPOST=1412404921][/DOUBLEPOST]

Thanks but I already uninstalled it. Got back MP1 and everything works fine again.

Hi. I was probably being a bit fast and loose with my terminology. I meant "somewhere within the files that MP2 uses in its database". Anyway, I found a way to do this which was far from automated but relatively low effort. I found what looked like all the images (CD covers, DVD covers, backgrounds etc all lumped together in...
