After 6 months of persuasion I managed to convince an Indian EPG content aggregator to part with their proprietary information with the HTPC community in XMLTV format. I am now working with them in the delivery mechanism of the EPG. Due to my leverage with them I am able to get weekly updates of 15 day guide from them.
Does Microsoft provide guide data for UAE? If so you can use mc2xml. Google for it.
