how to merge .sub with mkv ? (1 Viewer)

Sub files are just "pictures" directly extracted from dvd's. You have to OCR them with subrip or alternative programs and then you may add the .srt file in mkvtoolnix.

MKV now has been used widely online and offline, especially for HD movies. This file format supports subtitles which make it be more popular in saving movie files. But not all MKV videos have subtitles of course. So if you wanna add subtitles to MKV movies, you are in need of a professional tool for help. It seems the file "DialogMenu.xml" in the theme folder does not have the onX settings in the file by default (after MP 1.36) and when you install a later version of MP.
I modified the MP 1.38 file with the onX settings from MP 1.36. Also I have found the "DialogMenu.xml" from MP 1.36 will work with MP...
