I guess I have one of the simplest questions but I cannot find an answer after Google-ing all night.
I have a yellow plug and I want to see the image that comes out of that plug, with Mediaportal.
The original part to put the plug in is in the pc (it is a mediacenter)

How can I watch that signal?

Thanks in advance

??? You mean the yellow video output on your videocard? Just connect it to your tv. If that one has no duch input you need a converter to scart.

I don't know if this is even possible cause it's not a tv signal. It might be just a normal video signal.
Never heard or read about how to do that, sorry.
Maybe someone else knows the answer?

But to which part of your PC did you connect that plug? A TV-Card? ^^

When I am working on it to get it to work, it seems not to be possible.
But because it is such a simple common way of watching video I cannot imagine that it is not possible.
It is like a car with no wheels, that is why I kept searching.

It always worked with powercinema for example.

You would need some kind of card that has a chinch video input. I'm not sure if there is one. Your video card has an output, no input.

Sorry I just don't get it.
Why did you connect a video source to your computer instead of connecting it to your tv or monitor?

The part, needed to connect the plug to is built in in the pc.
This is because it is a mediacenter pc
the signal comes into the pc without any problem when I use powercinema.
That is why I think it is a mediaportal issue something you have to adjust but I cannot find it.
I also cannot find that it is not possible.

Sorry I just don't get it.

Thanks,

It is because then I can do all kinds of things with the signal
If I connect it to tv I can just watch;)

OK, I don't know how that might be used in MP? As far as I know you can't use such a video in as long as it is not a signalnfrom a tv card. You might need a plugin to do so.
