Had never heard of "LM remote keymap". Looks interesting.

I use HIP together with the HP MCE remote that came with my Z552 in combination with the message plugin on MP 1.0.2. Also blasting works, but I have to use the MCE replacement drivers. IRSS gave me trouble and it just became too cumbersome, that's why I stuck to HIP.

I'm looking at buying an additional HP MCE remote/blaster for a new client I intend to build. Good to know that I should be prepared for HIP not to work but that there is an alternative.

I have an XP MCE remote and I got mine working using IRSS - just had to select the correct receiver then mapped the channels manually and it worked fine for me.

Let me detail that; I did get the HP MCE remote to work with IRSS, but scheduling (blasting power commands to the amplifier on power-up, shutdown, suspend and resume) didn't work for me.

It is a long while ago that I tried it and I have seen a lot of work done on the IRSS plug-in since. I may give it another shot when moving the MP 1.1.0. On the other hand HIP with the message plug-in is an excellent clean, simple solution.

I hope that the message plug-in will keep working in future MP releases.

    Hi all..
I have this remote since yesterday, and works very well.. better than imon on my antec case. Now the receiver is almost perfect with my Harmony One.

Now, I have 2 little issues:

    1) I have already mapped MyTV button as FullScreen Video.. and I would like to map another button to activate subtitles without open OSD .. but I have not found the function on MP Config/Remote .. Is it possible to do it?

    2) I can hibernate my system.. but how can I wake it?

Thank you all.. and sorry for my bad english ;)

    BLASTER NOW WORKING

It seems to get the blaster going you need "LM Remote KeyMap", it doesn't work with MCEIRPLAY / HIP / IRSS.

What is the latest on this. I have the HP MCE remote for my Zotac and want to use it to blast the amplifier. Does it still not work with IRSS?

I don't know if it works with IRSS, but it works great with LM Remote Keymap!

Very easy to set up. Learning the codes for the amplifier and projector was a blast ;). Simply program the keys for blasting in LMRK and remove the functionality for those keys in the MP MCE remote mapping. The rest works 'out of the box'.
