Is there a way to get the Series, Video, and Movie libraries to ignore leading words like "the", "a", and "an"? I keep getting all the series that start with "the" sorted in with the T's.

No, there is no way to do that and I somehow think most people won't like such sorting way as default much.
I can asume, that adding a setting "Ignore leading words "the", "a", "an" while sorting could be theoretically possible.

This is why when setting up local .nfo files for video content I set and use sort titles, maybe something for the wiki? Of course this doesn’t apply if you use online scraping, true?

I am using online scraping using TinyMediaManager. I tried using Sort Titles and it worked great for a couple of weeks. For some reason now new recordings end up with either no sort title or they sort to the beginning of the list for some reason I haven't figured out yet.

Hi. I was probably being a bit fast and loose with my terminology. I meant "somewhere within the files that MP2 uses in its database". Anyway, I found a way to do this which was far from automated but relatively low effort. I found what looked like all the images (CD covers, DVD covers, backgrounds etc all lumped together in...

I don't know about MP2 but as you said you tried MP1 too, how is the MP music config ? MP(1) will only use LAV if you select "Internal DirectShow player" as music output, but then you lose gapless playback. If you you don't have multichannel music you can choose WASAPI as the output and set the number of speakers to stereo. I have...
