Could you try TI_IMDB grabber. It's for russian language but it could work for you too.
Here's the script itself. andrewjswan/mediaportal-kinopoisk-ru-grabber
Note that you need to have Newton.Json.dll in MediaPortal folder

I somewhere corrected IMDB grabbers. I can not find the right thread from the phone, where there are new scripts.

TI_MDB is universal, the language depends on the system.

But Im not able to integrate the universal TI_MDB into my MP1.... it does not load the script. How to integrate that?

Copy TI_MDB script to grabber folder. Newton.Json.dll to MP folder, and select grabber in MP config
