Increasing Font Sizes (1 Viewer)

Is there a way to increase font sizes such as in the program guide or the descriptions below. The image on my tv is relatively blurry, and is a strain to read. If this font is increased, will it distort the look of the guide?

Font sizes are defined in the skins themselves, if you edit them you might be able to increase the sizes if you loose screen space. Have you tried different skins to see if that makes a difference?

the skins generally use the same font size.

i have tried editing the fonts.xml page in the blue skin, but no changes. i am not sure if i have to delete the fonts folder so it can regenerate new fonts when the application starts up.

This is one of the top search results for WMC having stopped working; thanks everyone for the useful information! My shell scripting skills are very rusty these days, so for those like me who are still rocking Windows 7's (or some later version of) WMC, I thought I'd post the (rather hacky) Python script I'm using as a drop-in...

In the UK, the EPG transmitted in the DVB-T datastream allows each programme to have two genres -- a primary genre, and a secondary genre (i.e. a subgenre). The primary genre might be something like Film (or Movie in the USA). The secondary genre for Film might be something like: Action, Comedy, Crime, Fantasy, Romance, Science...
