    On mp 2.2?

    I had the same issues you have on 2.1.3. It sometimes stopped working.
    On 2.2 instead, it stops working at every mp restart, on both clients.. :confused:

    Is there any debug logging I can enable to further troubleshoot? This plugin is a must have for flirc users.

    I can confirm, it doesn't work here neither. I remmeber, that also other plugins needed a small update between version 2.1.3 and 2.2.
    @osre After being clear what causes the issues, would you be able to compile the version also for 2.2?

    @osre I'm ready any time to test a new version.

    Now, if this works as expected i think it would be great to add it to the "core" features.

    Hello,

    I hope it is OK to ask, if it would be possible to integrate
    my winlirc plugin from MP 1.x to this inputdevice manager plugin.
    I think it would be perfect to have input options in one plugin.
    The source of the plugin I can provide.

    @ge2301
    I added an updated version of this plugin including some changes. The code is in the FEAT_InputManager branch.
    If you could please sprinkle some of your magic on the design, that would be great. ;)

    Sure, I’ll take a look and see what I can do.
    Can you explain a bit what the new features or changes are? ;)

    Not many changes. A little cleanup, subtle GUI changes and added mapping of keys to home menus.

    Alright, I thought you considered the previous post, that's why I asked ;)

    I'm not able to test it and as far as I can see WinLirc has not been maintained since 2014. Kodi forums also seem to suggest it is no longer working in Kodi.
    If anybody wants to add it though, I will be glad to answer any questions. ;)

    @henso, can you reproduce following?
    When you enter "Input Management" in settings you have a button "Input Device Manager". When I select it with keyboard I see by a millisecond "Press a button on the input device you would like to configure" and I'm in the next screen with "add mapping". If I select it with mouse I remain in the screen with "Press a button on the input device you would like to configure". Seems not like intended behaviour, but I'm also not 100% sure.
