I have now looked through this entire thread, and still haven't figured out was this plugin excactly does!?
Can anyone explain it!?

IFC analyzing your TV and video content and scans for black bars and aspect ratio. IFC decides then, whether black bars have to crop or to set another view mode (streched, zoom, non-linear...)

Example:

You have a 16:9 TV. Broadcasting is 4:3 with black bars, then the aspect ratio is wrong for you cause you have a 16:9 TV.
IFC crops the bars, stretch to fill the hole screen and viola the aspect ratio is correct, without doing everything.

So basically, it removes the black bar's around the movies (If present)!?

Which version do you have installed?

Can you reproduce the issue and attach the hole log?

Yes, I will do so.. You mean the log from Mediaportal, taken in the Mediaportal control panel, right?

Yes the MediaPortal.log.
What I did:

• Open MyMusic
• Selected folder with some tracks
• Selected the first track and pressed play
• Track played, ends and MP played the second track

• Open MyMusic
• Selected folder with some tracks within and pressed play
• First track played, ends and MP played the second track

Is this the same as you did?

Can you add an option, which will actrivate only the black bar cropper, independently of film and tv ratio?
IMHO, it will be usefull with manual control.

Guess I'm right, that you want to crop the hole black bars in any situation. This option will be implemented in the next overhauled version of IFC. So be patient

This seems to be exactly what I need, however, unfortunately, it won't install.

I am using Mediaportal version 1.0.2 in Vista 64-bit. When I run the installer from the MPConfig, plugins installer, it gives me an error about some dlls and the plugin is not visable in the list of installed plugins.
