fantastic plugin!! thanks marvman!! before i had to watch movie in zoom mode and now... super!! just need to understand the settings. as far as i understand, we can totally avoid the black barre on top and bottom right? is that usefull?

It depends on your tv/video material. At the moment not in any case you can crop the black bars.
Ex.: your tv is 16:9 and you watch a 16:9 movie with black bars (21:9 content). Then IFC do nothing cause the AR is ok for your tv. But in the next version IFC is more flexible and you can decide if you want a correct AR or want wrong AR but with no black bars in any case.

where can i find a description how to set up the plugin. I dont understand the coloured lines in the setup and i have some problems with pro7 and other programs with a very very big black bar and the plugin dont stretch the screen

Try the wiki from the first post.

But in your case, you don't have to configure much, because the tests of IFC was mainly made with German broadcasting stuff.
Send me your logs and I will look at this.

ahh thx for your help, i overlooked the wiki link in the first post.
I tried to set the config by myself, maybe you can take a look to the cfg

€ i think there is still a fault in my cfg, if i watch Croc Dundee on Sat1 i have still some little black bars

With lil black bars do you meant normal black bars or left over, when some left over appears then higher the Overscan Crop values.

sooo, i added the standard config from the first site but now i have the black bars (top and bottom) on orf1 and pro7
The Pro7 is bar is very big in the current movie and the frame correction scretched the screen a bit but i want to delete the full black bars ... how much should i increase the overscan edge crop? .. should i also increase the black area one height?

Hi Marvman,

Thank you for this great plugin. Really really useful.

Could you please tell me if something changed in the last SVN? I installed MP Beta from the scratch and applied the last SVN (24669). I did notice that IFC was already installed in the plugins but it is not working right and I cant install it again.

I cant define View Mode, It is always blank even if I change it and save it.



In the screen even if I change everything after saving everything is lost.




If I try to install it again, the installer (I think that they changed something) tells me that this a old version (although it is a fresh download) and does not install.

This is the message: This is a old format file. MpiInstaller will be used to install it!
If I click OK then I receive: The system cannot find the file specified
followed by several errors.


Did you had the chance to test it with the latest SVN?

try right clicking it and choosing the other installer to install, I get the same problem with pretty much all plugins since the latest SVN.
