I just tried it with StreamedMP and get same behaviour, only the list wil show, but this is only like 50% of the time. The rest of the time everything shows up nicely?

I have just tried several PCs and cant reproduce, im using MP 1.0 (with official core.dll), the latest TVSeries.dll (build 3293) & StreamedMP SVN. I also tried the latest MP SVN just incase you were using that.

Im not sure why its only happening 50% of the time for you, it should either happen all the time or not at all so thats very strange.

I will continue to investigate, if you can narrow it down more that would be great.

I may have found the reason why MediaStream doesn't show the content of TV-Series, but this is related to how the user gets there in the first place.

Now, in the MediaStream plugin, I keep track of button up/down, Enter, Back, Esc and so on. So, when the user presses Enter, and I catch the keypress "Enter", the user doesn't really press a button like "normal" buttons.

If I place a button on my Home-screen with <hyperlink>9811</hyperlink> the content of TV-Series will always show.

The funny part is when I use the "catch Enter" on all the other windows (plugins) there is no problem.

I send the user to the window with this (example):

    GUIWindowManager.ActivateWindow(9811);

I'll keep on searching for a solution.

I recently (03/01) added the skinsettings-file to the package, but I can also upload it here if that'll help.

    You did?

I have that version installed, gonna take another look. Maybe it's because I made some alterations to the TVSeries.xml? ...

Found it, sorry to be a bother.

After some further testing, I can conclude that (for my part) I can trigger the "bug" if I have checked the "Show last active module when starting / resuming from standby" checkbox in "General settings" in MP Config.

This is both in StreamedMP and MediaStream.

If this box is checked, and I close MediaPortal when I have the TV-series window opened (in series view), then MediaPortal will show this window on next start, but then will only the list and background be visible.

If I uncheck this box, StreamedMP will behave normally, but MediaStream will still not show the content correctly. But I blame that problem on the way the window is triggered, so I see this problem as a two-stage rocket, first the resume-problem, then the problem with activating the window.

    Hello,
I have this problem as well. After watching an episode in my tv series the interface appears to "lock up" and not show any info.
Additionally, if I have been watching live tv for a while, tv series will sometimes fail to load.
It seems that the problems occur more often when I am in "view recently added". In "view all" it seems to be more stable.

I am using mediaportal 1.0 and the latest SVN of streamedMP and tv series linked in this forum. Is this "lockup" and no info loading issue considered fixed or still outstanding?

    thanks

Hi guys. This amazing plugin works great except for this little bug. I am running 1.0 and using the latest stable build to MPTVSeries. After an episode I get everything stacked up on each other. When I go back one screen it appears to correct itself. I am using the awsome indigo skin.

    :D to the author.
