Yes please! I know iPiMP can be used to control MP via the iPad, but a native app could use all that lucious touch screen real estate better...

I must agree with the other iPad-holders. This looks great!

If somebody can create this it would be highly appreciated! I would also definitely pay for an app like this.

Hopefully somebody who knows how this should be done can get creative...
I saw something like this for XBMC already for the iPhone. Maybe there's a poosibility to use this?

Take a look at iRule. It might be perfect for MP.

iRule - iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad Universal Remote Control Application. Allowing you to control your home theater.

Perhaps if this was to be picked up by one of the MP developers it could be a perfect match.
(XBMC and MCE are already supported)

I am downloading the app now and will give it a try. As soon as I did I'll report back...

Unfortunately iRule is not able to display the movies, series and music that is on my HTPC, I think. I guess you should really have an MediaPortal app to do that, but we'll see what it is capable of.
