Hi there,

I have a problem with this plugin, after installing it and moving to ispCP Omega a Virtual Hosting Control System I get an error in my Configuration saying

Parserfehlermeldung: Die Datei oder Assembly DirectShowLib, Version=2.0.0.20432, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null oder eine Abhängigkeit davon wurde nicht gefunden. Falscher Parameter. (Ausnahme von HRESULT: 0x80070057 (E_INVALIDARG))

I don't know what I have to do

I attached my web.config as txt.

It does work on mine Ipod Touch (generation 1) so if you have a first generation, it must be something local.

Look in "%programdata%\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal TV Server" for gentle.config

Copy it into your TV server folder then install iPiMP.



Still there with 3.0.0

I'll fix this in the next version.

I understood this copy-step , but unfortunately there is no gentle.config-File in the mentioned directory.
Looking at the backup folders of dezember there is always a gentle.config present - what is the deal? - did something change with version 1.0.0.0 (I searched the whole hdd) - or am I just too .....

How did you find it?
Maybe I'm simply to .., too?
There is no file in the specified folder nor in the whole hdd! (search)

I thought I could find a file on a disk - so far! ;-)

OK found it in:
C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\All Users\Anwendungsdaten\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal TV Server
(German XP Version)
No Idea why search did not find it!

BUT

Apache start service failed

(OS10048) Normalerweise darf jede Socketadresse ...
no listening socket available - shutting down
Unable to open logs.

Sounds like there is already a Service (Other Webserver ?) running on your machine!

OK - three things:

(1) I used Port 81 or any other than 80 and it worked
(2) I first thought that the port for clientplugin has to be the same - I later found out that this can be a different port!

How can I change the language? Or is it possible to change it in the Installationfiles?

Remote Control Problem

Hi again,

first the sever side is working perfect and I love this Plugin!
I have one issue with the remote function.

My Setup:
- one Server System (TV Server only MP 1.0)
- one mainClient (living room) with no mouse or keyboard and a WinLIRC Remote MP 1.0.
- several other clients (just to watch TV while programming ;-))

I istalled the plugin (without Client Part) on the server and only the client part on the mainClient.
My problem is that I can not use the remote control function (standard port 55667 and windows XP firewall enabled for TCP) with the client.
Do I have to install more than the client part to use this functionality?

2. It is not possible to change the language used in iPiMP.

I can see the plugin in the client, enabled it
I left the port on 55667 in the client and in the iPhone.
Enabled windows XP firewall (from all clients allow 55667 TCP)
but I can see no listener with netstat

With adding the client you mean in the webfrontend?
I added a client including name IP and also the port (because it did not work without the port)

There is only a Mediaportal multi seat - Client installation and the client only version of your plugin installed.

If netstat can't see 55667 the the plugin isn't running on your client, can you run this command at a command prompt and post the results - there may be something in your logs..

I don't know what I have to do

I changed my dir and now it works, don't know what exactly the problem was.
