Hi Cheezy,

Totally awesome plugin. Installed and up and running in like 5 minutes flat. Fantastic job, and the doco is great too.

Just one thing I can't get working - cookies. Can't get my details remembered for login.

web.config attached, and have tried Safari settings to accept cookies always.

tested with firefox too.... same problem (ie no details remembered) but cookies are created.....

Could it be the non-standard port?

EDIT: Both cookies disappear from firefox when I logout. .ASPROLES has a session expiration, but .ASPXauth is set to expire in 12 months, but it disappears on logout????

Sorry for the triple post, but think I see what is happening. Looks like the website is resetting the expiration on the .ASPXAUTH cookie on logout...... if I deny the update in firefox, details are remembered.

If you logout then the cookie is supposed to be expired, the point is the cookie remains valid for 1 year if you do not logout.

If you logout you are effectively saying 'destroy my authentication details'.

Ah ok, sorry for mis-understanding. I get it now. I thought the idea of the cookie was to remember details after logging out.

running Windows 7 Build 7260 with MediaPortal 1.1.0 alpha and almost everything is working, except for a couple of things:

- cannot schedule any recordings. iPiMP tells me that a show has been scheduled, but doesn't record at all
- when transcoded a recording, the thumbnail is beeing generated on the htpc but isn't beeing showed (instead of the channel logo) while viewing the recordinglist on my iPhone
- mediaportal clients - my videos - all videos (also genres en year) doesn't do much

perhaps you could change the remote control buttons, since some of them (like tv, radio, music, pictures, etc) are to difficult to memorize

Can you check in MP to se if they appear in your schedule list?

Can you complete the steps listed in troubleshooting and post some logs, also confirm the exact filename of such a thumbnail.

Is your MP videos database populated?

perhaps you could change the remote control buttons, since some of them (like tv, radio, music, pictures, etc) are to difficult to memorize

iPiMP is being re-written as we speak and I intend to look into the button images as part of that.
