Downloaded it, installed it, works !!!!!!!!
I want to thank you for this great plugin, I use many plugins but this one........
For me this is the best plugin ever made for mediaportal (if you own an ipod or iphone).
Got the gentle.config error installing it, replaced it after install.

Hi.

First of all (Brilliant APP !!!). Now, here is a small twist to it Using it on a Nokia N800. Sorry already had it and not going to buy an Iphone just yet

Anyway. Just loaded it up and looks great on the Nokia N800 (Will post some screenies). I have a problem though. I can Logon but after that I can not get the other links to work/go anywhere. I believe it has to do with the transition effect thing you use when changing screens.

Is it ok If I play a little bit with the templates/web pages and see if I can get it pass that point ?

EDIT: Some links do work without any kind of modification (Recorded Programs/Scheduled Programs/TV Server Status/Administration / About) But never gets past the 2nd screen (Basically the links that use normal html pages)

Feel free to have a play about - the guts of the layout is done by the WebApp.Net framework deployed in the WebApp folder in %INSTDIR%\iPiMP\aspx\WebApp.

Specifically Logic.js & Render.css - these files are compressed to save space but debug versions of them are available in the WebApp.Net 0.3.9a download from iPhone and iPod Touch development - WebApp.Net

I suspect it's Render.css that you'll have to look into most.

Agreed that this is the best addition to MP! Its is superb.

I'm still on an older version, so may need to upgrade, but every now and then I get stuck/frozen on the record screen (where the record once, record each week.. etc buttons are).

Can you confirm the account which your iPiMPweb service is running? Start -> Run -> Services.msc look for iPiMPweb and report it's 'Log on As'

iPiMPweb is logged on as "local system account"

Does your TV server work OK? There seems to be a few SQL errors reported.

Can you also complete the following tasks:

1. Stop TV service
2. Delete C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal TV Server\log\tv.log
3. Delete C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal TV Server\log\error.log
4. Start TV service
5. Start TV service configuration utility
6. Try to go into the iPiMPTranscode config screen
7. Quit TV service configuration utility
8. Stop TV service
9. Reply & attach new C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal TV Server\log\tv.log
10. Reply & attach new C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal TV Server\log\error.log

It should have sufficient privilege to read the local service controller then, I'll add some debug code in the next version for this to see if the problem can be traced.

I read that the facility to browse music is being worked on; will this include cover art and if so, is it likely that there will be any kind of coverflow feature?
I know, that's a big ask.


Also, are you aware of the MyMote application, which is an iPod remote for MythTV? There are some screenshots here: Screenshots - MyMote - Trac

The program guide implementation looks good (especially the 'change time' feature).

Anyway, keep up the good work; I'm looking forward to getting an iPod Touch!

Not in the short term - I hear there are some people looking at coverflow for Mobile Safari so it's possible in the future.
