Leuk dat tweakers forum, maar die zitten vol met nerds, en na twee regels lezen begreep ik er al geen jota meer van LOL
Ik ben mij aan het inlezen in IPTV, om klaar te zijn als xs4all TV gaat aanbieden via VDSL en ik eindelijk de kabel de deur uit kan doen. De vraag is alleen of er software/hardware nodig is voor in mijn HTPC (Vista Ultimate 32). Ik zie dat in Mediaportal 1.1.0 final version, wel een IPTV 'tuner' is ingebouwd, de vraag is alleen of die met het TV signaal van KPN/xs4al kan omgaan, of dat deze er alleen is voor internet TV diensten zoals Uitzendinggemist en JOOST. Het mooiste zou zijn als er helemaal geen hardware nodig is en het via software in de HTPC geregeld kan worden, maar dat zal wel niet denk ik.
Is Mediaportal uberhaubt wel klaar voor IPTV zoals interactieve TV van KPN? (xs4all zal ongeveer hetzelfde zijn, evenals tele2)
