Just going to list a few things that are driving me nuts I'm currently using an MCE remote with my Antec Veris Fusion case with HID IMON interface.

1... My videos is not mapped to the Abstract remote layer, this does not work in either IMON or MCE mode.

2... The BACK button on the MCE remote behaves like the Delete key rather than the ESC key, this renders basic navigation useless.

3... The CLEAR key acts like the ESC key. CLEAR and BACK needs to be swapped. (realize HID has some hard wired functions, must be a way around this)

4... Standby functionality does not work... I had written a VBScript to resolve this that would start and stop the IRSERVER.exe on resume and standby but this should be with in the application as I don't think most people write vbscripts..

Please please please could we look in to number 1 to 3.. Fix thiese and you mostly fix it for all us HID users... I've tried Disaster's un-official installation and does not seem to work with HID MCE...

I might be retarded but how would you make a button kill a application?

Some times mediaportal freezes especially when trying new things and I would like to be able to set a button to kill the mediaportal process so I dont have to get the keyboard out.

Using Translator you can execute "restart.vbs" from MediaPortal dir, that will kill and restart MP.

We are currently thinking about extending the Abstract Layer

Please test in debug client and give me a log/screeshot of such section.

I didn't test it as application, works fine as service. Will give it a try...but I won't provise it's anytime soon, because I'm preparing for my vacations

Repeats focus is not working in TrayLauncher.
Using mp alpha 1.1.0.

I am running MP 1.0.2.0. I have installed IRSS 1.4.2.3064 (latest until now) but my problem is the same as for lots of other users that blasting is not working at all. i have even tried build 1.4.2.2975 and 1.4.2.3060 but none of them works. i followed all the instruction so far and reinstall many times but no luck. following are the issues:

1. learning is very difficult and most of the time it failed to learn. i covered the sensor while learning process to avoid any other signal interuption bt after trying may times it is successful but test always fails.

2. i i enable the MCE remote in MP it works perfectly fine with all the buttons properly work on the remote.

3. with ME remote disable and IRSS running, responce is very slow and i have to press button multiple times for most of the functions. also, My Video doesn't work at all.

I am struggling to make my remote blast to my receiver successfully but so far no luck at all.

can please some one give me idea whats wrong or some other solution to run the MCE remote completely along with the blasting. sall i try MCE replacement plugin with Girder? Please ... Please ... Please help me out....

i am attaching the log from TV server and IRSS for you guys if it can be of any help.

Hi,

I can you please attach the VBScript and also instructions on how to use it? I have a similar setup with Antec Fusion. I have disabled IRMON. The only thing missing for me is that IRSS does not work when the PC resumes from S3 state. Due to this I have run the PC 24x7.

they never work in any version under any plugin (not in MP and not in translator) even when it says IR successfully learned, it blast but nothing change on the set-top-box.

help please or any other solution to blast set-top-box from mediaportal
