I might be retarded but how would you make a button kill a application?

Some times mediaportal freezes especially when trying new things and I would like to be able to set a button to kill the mediaportal process so I dont have to get the keyboard out.

    thank you

    And here it goes !

New version should fix the MCE receiver support for x64 users.
At lest for me (Windows7 x64 RTM) and for Team Tester tontsa (Vista x86 SP2) works flawlessly.

I want to give a special and big :D to Kevin ( nick AIstudio ) for providing the hardware: without his donation it would have been too hard to fix !

    Enjoy and report back...

    It's not working here (windows 7 x64 Ultimate + Philips SRM5100).
PS: Didn't insert irserver log because it's nearly 130mb

    OK NEARLY PERFECT! LOL

Well it works for me in Vista x64 but not learnIr or blasting... Also when in application mode instead of server mode the application crashed and windows shut it down? BUT when it did crash it was working until I click the "Send Error report" button and then once windows had shut down the server MP didn't respond to remote inputs until I restarted the service.

I have attached the logs (I hope!) encase they are of any use! :D

    :D again

OK last night I figured that now the MP Plugin worked OK I would try the trick of installing the version of IRSS that works with Translator and the blaster (V 1.4.2.2975) and then just install the MP Plugin from the newest version. Anyway I uninstalled everything then installed the older version but it said there was something already installed.. I tried removing it but still said there was something installed so I just installed the old version over the top and now it all works fine! No newer version of the MP plugin required!?
This version didn't work before you made the x64 version so I guess something from that version is still on my PC?!

As you can expect thats it for me! No touching it! LOL!

I will include my latest logs encase they help but in the mean time THANK YOU!!!!! ;-)

MicrosoftMceTransceiver_DriverVista.log is coming from the old version, dunno how it's possible that it works...

Please remove IRSS from control pannel. Then look in Program Files, ProgramData and VirtualStore if you have any leftover, reboot and reinstall 3063.

Let me know if this works fine for you.
