1.0.4.2 Preview 6 is now available on the first post.

The installer has been re-written by ChefKoch, so let me know how it goes.

If this preview works as expected it will go to final 1.0.4.2.

If you're interested check out the Abstract Remote mode in the service configuration ... I'll talk more about that later ...

I could add a new command "Ignore Input (Yes/No)" that you could put at the top of your macro, would that do what you want?

everyone else:

The new version is being held up because I can't get recent MediaPortal SVN's to install on my PC. Therefore I can't do my own testing.

I may just release the next preview version anyway ... I'll just try finish one last thing before I do...

I have problems with the plugin failing to show up in the TV-engine control panel. Am I the only one with this problem on today's build?

Pew, that was fast! Many thanks, at last I found the posts by 'nachttier' about the same problem. I searched all the web on 'double' and 'twice', now I know I should have looked for 'duplication' ;-)
I wil look into the preview or maybe just wait for the final version and use the script for restarting the input service from nachttier in the meantime.
Offtopic: just two weeks ago I started looking into Mediaportal after more than a year of Ubuntu/Mythtv usage and configuration troubles. I was really amazed about the beautiful features and looks of Mediaportal and the plugins. Today I made a small donation to the Mediaportal project and I was wondering if you benefit in one way or another from donations made to the Mediaportal project. It should, but I can't fully test it because I'm stuck with SVN 17991 due to a filter problem.

There was a problem with a few SVN's because of duplicated reference dlls, it was stopping any plugins other than the included ones from working. It should be fixed now. But let me know if it's not.

Latest version you sent me is great, the only real bug I found is file..open and file..import still does nothing when importing an abstract application definition (meedio.xml).

I know, this is something I will have finished for 1.0.4.3.

I couldn't manage to install it silently..

You should be able to use the /S command line parameter to install it silently. It will install the default components to the default locations. To change which components to install chefkoch (who is helping me with the installer) says this on IRC:

I'll add that command after the 1.04.2 final release. It shouldn't be hard to do, but I don't want to introduce something that could accidentally disable input before the 1.0.4.2 release.

Try the preview, it's good... it will become the 1.0.4.2 final in a day or so if all goes according to plan ...

What SVN version are you running?

I'm using SVN 17991. After that the filters go mental on my system... but I know that it's not the same for everyone.

17991 seems fairly stable though.

I'm experimenting with using a new SVN but with the old filters ... I don't recommend you do this because I can't be sure of anything yet.

Diehard2 is working on the trouble I'm having ... so I expect he'll sort it out soon... he's very good

Yeah that's because of the duplicated reference dlls in the plugins folder. Newer SVNs should solve this, but you can correct it yourself ... delete the PluginBase.dll and Powerscheduler.interfaces.dll from the plugins folder. I think that should do the trick.
