Its configued this way

Those are the default values used by the configuration program... Did you actually click on the "ok" button so that the configuration file is created???
(If you click on "cancel" because the defaults values are fine for you, the configuration file is not saved, and the driver does get a configuration)

Yes they are the default values... I pressed OK twice, and the IR server restartet, still no change... The log is still saying the same..
I guess the config file you mentioned is "iMON USB receivers/inputservices" in "Programdata/IR server suite/Input services".. They are updated... As below

Hi all. I am new to IR Server Suite and it seems to be a great piece of software. Hats off to and-81 for the development and extremely active support for it.

I am trying to use it with MCE receiver+remote+blasters. All of this came with my toshiba laptop running MCE 2005, but I am trying to use it on my desktop which runs XP Pro. The receiver is Toshiba Remote Controller Receiver. After plugging in the receiver in a usb port, it was recognized by XP and it installed drivers itself.

I would like to use IR Server Suite (version 1.4.2 RC1) to blast IR codes to my STB. But it doesnt work; I am using the IR File Tool to learn the IR code and then blast it. The learning part works correctly; the blast doesnt give an error and the log file says that blast was successful but nothing happens on the STB. As a test, I learnt the codes for my Sony tv and tried to blast some codes to it, but it also made no difference. What else can I do to make it work?

Thanks.

Try the attached driver dll... It replaces the existing file in the IR Server Plugins directory.

Thanks. Tried it.. Nothing is changed acording to the log, but seems like Imon now controls the remote. Even though its killed:confused: It's now possible to use the mouse, enter/esc and such things..

---- Proposal ----
Well as far as i can see there's many who got the same problem? And most, including me are willing to do anything to get i to work..
I got the idea of using TeamViewer.. It is a remote desktop and both can watch at the same time.. If you want, I could provide the computer you could use for testing and doing anything you want? If you got appropriated time to do so? I think that would make all things easiers for you? And would make the adapting a lot easier for all Imon user? I know i have to push the remote, but got a lot of time right time(just having examinations).. If you want be kind to respond :) Thanks for helping us with this great software:D

    Hello cybrmage and 1stdead,

i got same problems like you 1stdead

already posted it in this thread

i tried the Imon USB Receivers.dll cybrmage posted aswell with same result as 1stdead.

If you look at the logs you see iMonHidReceiver got older timestaps like
    Input Service ones.

If you clear the log folder and restart you see why, the iMonHidReceiver log don't get written with the new DLL installed.

Here is the iMon Hardware/Software combo i use:
    - Windows XP 32bit Professional
    - Imon manager 6.20.0830 (Silverstone)
    - FW 0x380102 LCD OEM HID

I am willing to help with whatever info you need to make this great plugin working, the default iMon software really don't look very "ready" to me.

Yep... no logs for the last version... I forget to enable debug when I compiled the DLL...

I have attached another test version. This version has some "extensive" debugging enabled... and a few changes to the startup code to try to eliminate a few of the problems. Please try it and post the log.

BTW: The name of the log file HAS CHANGED for this version!!! it is now "iMonUSBReceiver.log"

The IR blaster works on port 2 only and only thru translator, not the IR File Tool. Tha is strange. And whats with port 1? Maybe its something to do with the Toshiba IR receiver.

No changes. Is vista 32bit causing this problem?
