Chemelli i tried your files, however wih both the 1.4.2.2963 and 1.4.2.2975 versions USB UIRT does not show up in the inputservice configuration at all now, whereas earlier it did show up but did not detect.

I checked the inputservice configuration log but there is nothing to tell from there. (It looks exactly the same as before).

Please attach them here, anyway.

Don't know if you need the .dll, but if you go back one page cpp2005 posted it there.

As cpp2005 is now a Portal Developer, I sent him a note asking to update the patch to current code and do the commit.

So please test latest version attached to first post and let us know if this is fixed.

Attached the logfiles with the new usbuirt.dll and pdb + xml file.
No difference except the .dll is not used at all in irss now. (not visible in configurator).
As a result it doesn't show up in the logs at all.

steps:

- total remove of 1.0.3.5
- deleted all programdata.
- install of 1.4.2.2975
- overwrite usb-uirt transceiver.dll and add the .pdb and .xml file (No .pdb and .xml exist at that moment).
- entered input service configuration and tried autodetect. (USB UIRT wasn't visible anyway)
- copied all log files to the .rar and uploaded it here

Big thanks to you for the documentation as you promised.
I found one issue that when you add the channels for the first time it all came as "channel not mapped to a card" and won't show the preview. you have to manually map all the channels to your card to make them appear as Analog or what ever input you use.
I have created a document for this solution and appreciate if this will be reflected in the original document too.

Hi everyone,

I have updated the wiki as per skoka123 suggestion. right now it says that the page does not exist yet. this is my first time editing the wiki and i really feel proud that i have my little share in all the big efforts you guys are doing here. I don;t know how much time it takes to get this wiki page back online.

I did not upload any of the picture that i put in my original document, otherwise it will be a confusion with the existing (vista) screen shots with my (XP) screen shots. instead I just merge the text with the existing one.

Please feel free to edit in case you want. the idea here is to create document as good as possible.

The page existed but the content was rremoved by someone today

I restored it, please update it there and delete old or upload new pictures.

It is not necessary, but it would be nice if you register in wiki first and login then.

The updates i did to this documents are gone even. I'll update it again sometime today.
