IR Server Suite - Version 1.4.2 Test Build 3158/3281 (4 Viewers)

Just installed 1.4.2 RC1 to a friend's pc with X10 Wireless Technology and it's not recognized as installed.
The driver is based on "x10ufx2.sys".

How can I help you understand why is not detected ?

EDIT: Vista 32bit, driver auto-downloaded/installed from Microsoft WindowsUpdate.

Hi there,

Running 1.4.2 RC1 with that updated MPControl Plugin. MP 1.0 RC1 on Vista HP SP1 x64. The TrayLauncher sometimes relaunches MP after I closed it.

Hi,
Im trying to set up my tv server to Blast the channels on my stb (motorola dth325-4)
i programed in all the number Buttons and ok.
Then i tested it, the light flashes red but the channel dont change on the set top box

i also tried my brothers stb (pace) same thing happend
then i tried another stb (a freeview box) and it worked

dose anyone have any advise for me, maybe some small setting im over looking

I don't know if I'm experiencing the same issue that Gix & mironicus mentioned recently or if its another suspend/resume bug. In my case there is no definite pattern when the remote works after a resume. Most often it does not. I hope the attached log is enough to find the problem, if not just let me know how I can provide more information. I'm running version 1.4.2 with a MCE transceiver on Vista Ultimate x32 with UAC off.

and-81, I just wanted you to know that I tried the RC1 yesterday and the problem I reported earlier is still reproducible. Do you think you will be able to fix it for the 1.4.2 release?

MCE Remote - MyVideos

The button for MyVideos (Videos) isn't working for me. All of the other buttons (ie. Pictures, Live TV, Recorded TV, etc.) are working properly.

I've checked the button mapping in the MP Config plugin and it is set to the proper action (Window->Video) and the abstract remote mapping is set to the proper raw remote code (2074) for the Videos button press.

I'm not sure what else I could look at to troubleshoot. Any ideas?

Hi,

I've just installed version 1.0.4.1. After I've learnt the 0-9 buttons from my STB's remote, I could only successfully perform a 'Test' on Port_2. I think the Port_1 on my MCE transceiver is broken. Is there a way to force the port to stay at Port_2?
I'm planning to use this with GBPVR and was unable to change the channel on my STB. Not sure if the Port issue is related. Thanks for any help.

I am using my MCE remote with the Translator for starting MP or killing it if it hangs. Additionaly I have defined a few macros which I start when the system resumes/hibernates. Overall the Translator runs robust and stable. But there is one thing I don't understand: Sometimes, when I restart the system all my configuration except for the macros is deleted! Can anybody comfirm this behaviour or has an idea what's going wrong?

(Win)Lirc plugin enhanchements

Thanks for the much appreciated work with your IR Server Suite. I use a somewhat different setup, having a Linux box installed with Lirc serving as my remote receiver (as well as transmitter).

When I started to use the IR Servier Suite, I used the WinLirc plugin and connected to my Linux box. What I expericend was timing problems regarding repeats and delays. A stroke may take twice, menu enties are skipped, etc.

I downloaded the source from SVN, and fixed some issues to make it work better for me (as well as fixed a bug in WinLircCommand#isSameCommand). The attached file is a diff file to make use of my changes. Hope it can be helpful.

In Lirc there is a repeat flag (which I don't know if is true in WinLirc). This flag is used to set up a Repeat Delay; the first entry takes, then the same command must be issued at least Repeat Delay before the command is accepted a second time. After that full repeat rate is used.

yes, it happens when I use green button (GB) inside MP.....It probably remembers pressings GB during MP is launched
