... the Input service does not work directly after bootup. On both machines I need to restart the Input service to make it work properly. After that it normally keeps running without any problems.

I only have an issue with the power button, it keeps putting my machine in standby.

I have the same problem.


After power on(not restart) Input service say "Device not found" or "timeout writing to device".
Replug reciever and restart IRSS service make it work properly.

And I'm too have to "keeps putting my machine in standby".

First post updated with a new beta 1.4.2 Test Build 2627.
Use this build if you use any MP version or SVN beyond MediaPortal 1.0.0.0. Especially if you are using TV3Blaster plugin and received MissingMethodException in TVServer config when configuring TV3Blaster plugin.

If TV3Blaster plugin is active, you will need to stop TVService before installing.

I've probably a small problem here. But my problem concern XBMC, but hopefully someone here can help me.

I've downloaded IR Server Suite - 1.0.4.1.zip and started it, everything goes smooth. Starting up XBMC and it let me use both my Harmony 885 and MCE remotes. But my problem is that everything goes double when I only push once. Is it possible to fix it, so it runs as normal?

Is this only for SVN or does it also work with stable release MP 1.0.0.0?

Unfortunately I do not have MP 1.0.0.0 anymore, so I could not test it myself.
I don't think there is a need for you to update, but if you are willing to test, your feedback will be welcome.

I have the same problem as with the previous beta. When I go to MP Configuration, enable the MP control plugin and then click "Configure", nothing happens. config log is attached.

Thanks for this plugin as I'm using the latest test build of MP and this plugin. With that my Vista MCE remote is now working with Windows 7, with the default MP MCE remote it would be problematic with very fews keys working.

I worked a little bit better with 1.0.4.1 altought not 100%. Now it seems to fail 100% on every resume. Restarting input service works, but I guess that is not planned to work like that.

I got the exact same problem here, running Vista Ultimate SP1. No problems in XP.

Is anyone else having problems with DBOXTUNER.EXE in this package. It use to work fine for me but since i rebuilt my MediaPC and installed MP1.0 the dboxtuner crashes when i tell it to ZAP. also it gives an error when trying to get a channel list in the setup part.
I have a DM500 running PLI image and it use to work with this.
