Is it possible to remove everything except My Videos? (2 Viewers)

had a little play around to see if possible, the only other item in the menu i had apart from video's was extensions, i couldn't disable it
Maybe messing with mediaportal.xml may get rid of it. the only other thing is that it lists the items multiple times , again messing with the xmls for the skin maybe able to reduce it to only those item listed
steps to reproduce
install MP, but when installing select " No. i will use Mediaportal to watch TV
once installed
go into mediaportal config, then plugins, disable all plugins apart from videos (home and extensions cannot be disabled)
right click on home plugin, then configuration. then untick show plugins
only videos and extensions is show

can you copy myvideos.xml and overwrite basichome.xml? would that work?

Thinking about this now, you probably also needed to delete the font cache files in the MP "Cache" folder. That would trigger MP to regenerate the font cache files the next time that the MP client starts. Sorry for forgetting to mention that.

MP(1) will only use LAV if you select "Internal DirectShow player" as music output, but then you lose gapless playback.
If you you don't have multichannel music you can choose WASAPI as the output and set the number of speakers to stereo.
