Hi NoBugS,

are you still working on the Editor? Is it just for "normal" MP Skins or can I use it for SkinDesign for another Plugin (MPTouch)? I'm comleptely new in this section, so it's not so easy to understand everything you can handle with the Editor. Is it compatible to newer Versions of MP?

Hi NoBugS - glad to see you haven't give up! And all the new skin features and controls for MP 1.2.0 will likely drive you nuts! If you wish information on them, please refer to our Skin Related Changes pages for 1.2.0 in the new Wiki. I don't know if you check for version compatibility but there is also a new process for Skin Version Check as well.

I have created a Skin Editor page in our new Wiki for you. Feel free to add any documentation you wish there. When you are ready just login to the Wiki (using forum username and password) and I can give you edit rights. Don't hesitate to holler via PM or in IRC if you need assistance. But I think some documentation might help encourage more testers so we can get this baby released!

Is this developed any further? WOuld be nice since this editor saves a bunch of time opening and closing MP to look what your changes look like.

If it is developed further I would love one improvement: Sometimes the editor doesn't load the whole xml and just shows a few of the controls defined. I guess it has problems loading the xml I can't define any further. Maybe it has to do with all that 1.2.0 Beta changes since I am using styles, colordiffuse and define tags all over and it looks like the editor doesn't like it.

Has this died? I'd love to try and make a skin and this seems to be the ideal tool but I'm unsure how it will work with newer version's of MP.

Unfortunately it seems as if the author has lost all interest and as he never published the source code noone can continue his work... I tried contacting him but got no reply.
