Hi All,

I have all of my movies in .iso files and when I switch to icon view it does not display cover art. I have added the IMDB data to each movie. Is there a way of getting the cover to display?

I dont use the IMDB database stuff in Media Portal so I dont know if this will work for you, but what I do is copy in a .jpg to the same directory as the .iso, with the same name, and then when I'm browsing the directory in Media Portal I get the cover art displayed for that title.

i.e. if I have "my movie.iso" then I create a "my movie.jpg" (in the same directory as the .iso) with the cover art for that movie and I'm done.

Cheers,

Okay, putting each .iso file into it's own folder allowed the IMDB info to stick and I now have the covers in icon view!

Thanks!:D

I had the same problem when using the shares view. I'm assuming you use Daemon tools to mount and play the iso files too. I found I did not need to actually put each iso in it's own folder. Simply checking the "each movie in it's own folder" option in the config did the trick. It seems each iso is treated as a folder containg the dvd structure.

Hi. I was probably being a bit fast and loose with my terminology. I meant "somewhere within the files that MP2 uses in its database". Sorry, I didn't get email notifications on these latest replies. I just came here to report I solved the problem after adjusting power settings for "Intel Graphics". I set it to Maximum Performance. I tried many other things so it could be a combination of them, but this was the last thing I did and I haven't had the problem return...
