The graph looks fine. Those tiny boxes where the arrows connect are the pins which start counting at pin 0 at the top of a box. The error in the log said VMR9 could not connect on pin 0, pin 1 or pin 2. The graph, however, shows it is connecting to pin 0. The audio is probably not the issue but if you want the system to use the MPC Audio codec you can go into DSFMgr, find CyberLink Audio Decoder and lower its merit (this may require a reboot to take effect). This is what the merit indicator does, when a stream can be decoded with multiple filters then the higher merit filter is used.

One more thing you can try is to disable VMR9 Exclusive Mode. Under config, DirectShowFilterControl -> Video Renderer Settings uncheck the second check box. I am not basing this suggestion on any experience. I have just read that some folks have had problems in the past and it may have been because of this. Clearly this is a stumper of a problem and I have entered the WAG (Wild Assed Guess) stage of suggestions.

One, one more thing, check in config under DVD and make sure the codecs are correct. I believe MP uses DVD player to play ISOs.

    Thanks for the continuing suggestions...

    still no joy...

Disabling vmr9 exclusive mode did not help.

DVD codec is also MPC - MPEG-2 Decoder

    regards,

I have a problem with this too. I assigned ISO files to an episode, but when I try to play it within MyTVseries nothing happens. It seems like it wants to start the video but then it just returns to the previous screen.

    I'm using MPA/MPV decoder.

Just to add something else: DVD ISO files it finds using Importing work, but the ones I manually assign don't work. Even though they are the same kind of file and ripped the same way.

    Maybe this is a bug?

After testing... I'm going ahead and replacing my episode iso's with video_ts folders... they seem to work okay for me. I've only got 5 series DVDs ripped so far anyway. Just a few minutes to convert.

I just got a feeling that the issue will be difficult to track down.

Just discovered this issue too and agree it might be quicker to covert the iso's to video_ts folders. At the very least it will be a less of a headache than trying to track down the problem

I can confirm that I have the same issue with all iso's in TV Series. Work fine in MovingPictures and My Videos (except I can't stop them in myvideos). I think it is a problem with mounting the iso as shown in the excerpts from my logs below (note that the file on C: is the actual iso file whereas drive H: is where dameon tools mounts the image so TV series is trying to play the file directly instead of mounting it):

    Excellent detective work ,
Do you think it's an easy fix ? I love this plugin for Media Portal and would really prefer to use .iso images of all my tv series episodes.

I have added an issue, hopefully it will be fixed soon, until then I will stick with moving pictures for my tv series iso's.
