I just installed the new version 2.3.3491 to test the iso playing problem.

There is still the error
"Abspielen nicht möglich: The Simpsons S07E01.iso"
Video Codec: MP2V
Audio Codec: AC3

Playing the same iso directly in Mediaportal works like a charm.
Is there a solution in sight?

I know that theres a issue assigned at google

I gave up waiting for iso support to be added to mytvseries.

I used makemkv to rip all of my tv series box sets.

I recommend Handbrake for mkv conversion.
You will have all required tools in a single shell (batch job, video & audio codec selection, chapters, etc) and the newest Beta is giving you also freedom in subtitles

Fixed Issue 206 Iso not mounted

In new version v2.3.3538 the issue 206 Iso not mounted is solved.

I tested it with MP1.0.1 and it worked, the iso is mounted now.
But playing is not possible. I get the same error as before:

"Abspielen nicht möglich: The Simpsons S07E01.iso"
Video Codec: MP2V
Audio Codec: AC3

Is this my fault or does anybody else have this problem?

Converting all my series with makeMkv or Handbrake is infeasible.

makeMkv can not be used as batch because of bad comand line and does not use the source name as target name.
It always uses title00.mkv and manual renaming is very labour intensive.
However, i use makemkv for my movies, for single files it is very nice.

Handbrake does a real conversion and this takes to long for me.
Moreover, with handbrake I sometimes had the problem with asynchronous audio.

In makemkv forum i already asked a user for his BatchMakeMkv. The download link he provided month ago is dead at the moment. If this works, I will change to mkv for my series to.

I dont have any problem, it mounts the iso and plays with the default DVD player.

Are your isos, proper DVD structures?

Yes it is a standard dvd iso. If I use the Video Section thi Iso is played without any problem.
Which version of TvSeries do you use? The latest one?

The source code looks like the iso is mounted but then the iso is used for plaing and not the file inside the iso.
But maybe i dont understand it right
